We are pleased to share the news of Stage One’s recent interim CEO appointment.

Stage One’s CEO, Joseph Smith, is taking a period of temporary leave as he opens Tammy Faye on Broadway. We are delighted to share that from 1 September to the end of November, Tracey Childs has been appointed as Stage One’s interim CEO, alongside her role with Bill Kenwright Limited.

Joe will continue to lead on our New York Exchange programme, taking place 16-20 September. We wish Joe and the Tammy Faye team all the best while he is based in New York!

Tracey served two terms as a Stage One council member, as well as being a Stage One alum and mentor.  Tracey will be working closely within our team and will be leading on our autumn Bursary round, Off West End workshop and other events during this period.

We are delighted to be working with Tracey and look forward to the next few months.
