BRIDGE THE GAP PLACEMENTS
Through Bridge the Gap, Stage One work in partnership with companies to fund a 12 month paid placements championing entry-level roles and the need for a diverse workforce.
Applications for the Kiln Theatre & Bridge the Gap Trainee Producer Placement are now open!
The Bridge the Gap Placement offers one eligible producer a 12-month paid placement with one of the UK’s most established theatres. The placement offers valuable experience and learning about the role of a producer through ‘hands-on’ training.
Producers on a Bridge the Gap Placement also receive a place on Stage One’s Bridge the Gap Development Programme, which addresses the lack of diversity in theatre producing through mentoring, workshops, support from the Stage One team, and more.
We're thrilled to currently be hosting our 2025-26 placement with Kiln Theatre, supported by the Aziz Foundation.
2025-2026 Bridge the Gap Placement: Kiln Theatre
Stage One will be hosting their 2025-26 placement with Kiln Theatre in London.
This placement is generously supported by the Aziz Foundation, a charity established to nurture confident, articulate public leaders of Muslim backgrounds. Stage One and Kiln Theatre also recognise the under-representation of Muslim people in the theatre industry. Therefore, we would actively encourage people to apply who identify as Muslim or have experience of working to amplify Muslim voices and communities.
