Q: What Available Spaces Are There For Me To Work From In London?
A: When you’re starting out as a Producer it’s unlikely you’ll have enough money to spare for a lovely membership at the Groucho or Hospital Club, so where are the best places to work in central London without having to work out the wifi code to Costa Coffee? So many arts organisations now recognise the importance of providing working areas for creatives just starting out their careers in the arts. The National Theatre has many spaces where you can grab a coffee and use the wifi, whilst at the same time inspiring you to think of those big dreams and the historical productions which have run there before. If you’d prefer a space which is slightly more intimate and might also increase your chances of bumping into your next collaborator why not take advantage of the Oval House Creative Network or the Arts Theatre “Above the Arts” space in central London.
If you don’t mind paying (but don’t want to pay too much obviously) Business Insider UK recently rated 8 of the most luxurious and exclusive co-working spaces in London – some do look incredibly trendy! Another option is our Stage One Office in Carnaby Street, exclusively it’s used to suit the needs of our Bursary Award Winners but after a recent refurbishment there are limited places available for a small price.
